中国大黄
又称“土耳其大黄”、“掌叶大黄”、或“大黄”，中草药方剂已经使用该药材数千年。2200年前的《神农本草经》就有大黄使用的最早文字记载。生物分类学之父卡尔·林奈（Carolus Linnaeus）在1759年赋予其拉丁文名称；1762年左右，大黄被引进英国植物园。
