• Preparation: Do the sensitivity test before you do any application. Be sure that the hair is clean and dry. To prevent stains, you should apply a very thin coat of cold cream around your hairline, ears and the nape of your neck. Wear the gloves that are in the box so you do not stain your hair and nails. Also, wear a towel or a cape to protect your clothes.
  
• Mixing: Put a hole in the back of the product by ripping along the dotted line. Place the cream developer bottle in this hole then unscrew the white bottle cap. Squeeze all of the contents of the colorant tube into this bottle. Don't add the after-color conditioner. Put the white cap back on and shake the bottle completely until this mixture is entirely blended. Don't attach the comb-nozzle onto the bottle as you shake it. Unscrew the cap and attach the comb-nozzle securely. Begin the application right away and put the comb-nozzle on securely.
  
• Application Prep: Use the product at room temperature for ideal results. Do not splash any into your eyes. Be sure you do not spill the mixture onto your skin. If the mixture gets onto your ears, hairline or neck, remove it with wet tissues right away so there is no staining. First Application: Put the mixture into your hair, from the roots to the ends. If your hair has any gray that you want to cover, start the application where the most gray hair is, which is normally along the hairline. Or, start the application from the back of your head and neckline. Then you can apply it to the side and front. Comb it through the hair to make sure the mixture has been distributed evenly. Do not scratch your scalp. As you put the mixture onto the hair ends, put your hand on the comb-nozzle so the mixture does not drip off. You should wait about 25 minutes. Then, check the color development by wiping a hair strand with a ball of cotton or a tissue paper. Adjust the time, as needed.
  
• Retouch Application: Apply mixture to the root area, and wait fifteen minutes for color to develop. Comb through your hair to spread mixture down to the ends to make sure it is evenly distributed. You should wait another 10 minutes. The result of the coloring can vary depending upon the conditions of your hair, the temperature of the room and development time. If your hair is thick and strong or you have a lot of gray, you should lengthen the time of development for five minutes. Any unused mixture will not be effective for 30 minutes after the mixing and should be thrown away. If any mixture is stored in the closed container, it could burst.
  
• Rinsing and Conditioning: Rinse your hair completely with warm water until water is clear, then shampoo well. You then should apply the After-Color conditioner to your hair. Message it in gently and leave it one for a minute. Rinse well. Make sure water does not contact your eyes as you rinse.
